The first thing we do when you come to discuss dental implants at Carisbrook is to fully explain exactly what is involved in the treatment. This is then followed up by a high-definition CT scan or x-ray to determine the size, structure and condition of your jawbone. As part of the dental implants treatment, we fix medical-grade titanium inserts into your jawbone. 

This is the same grade titanium as that used for hip and knee replacements, so it ensures the insert quickly becomes firmly and fully integrated into the bone. 

After a few weeks, once the procedure has healed, we then attach the dental crown or bridge onto the insert. Once again these are specially made for each patient by our own Dr Idrees who has almost 20-years experience in forming the most beautiful teeth that not only fit correctly and last for many years … but are also a perfect match for your surrounding teeth. 

As you would expect, compared to removable dentures, dental implants are far superior. You never have to worry about them affecting your speech and you needn’t have any concerns that they may embarrass you during important social or business events or when you are dining.
