The Carisbrook Paediatric Specialist Referral Service commences next month

One of the UK’s top child dentist specialists is available to treat our own patients and also assist any other dental practice

Dr Elnaz Aliakbari (Better known as Ellie to our staff, patients and friends) will become an important member of the Carisbrook Dental team on Tuesday 3rd March. Dr Ellie is a GDC Registered Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry and as such she will bring valuable experience and expertise to our already acclaimed dental service located to the north of Manchester. Ellie’s unique qualifications and skills will not only be available to treat any young Carisbrook patients but in addition, our exclusive paediatric specialist referral service means they also be available to any other dental practice who needs to refer their young patients to one of the country’s leading child dentist specialists.

When it comes to dentists for children there are very few paediatric specialists more highly qualified than Ellie: DDS, MFDS RCE (Glas), MClinDent (Paeds), PG Cert (Health Research), MPaedDent RCS (Tricollegiate – England, Edinburgh and Glasgow).

Ellie is also a Senior Registered Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry. She completed a Masters Degree in Paediatric Dentistry at the University of Bristol; achieved postgraduate Certificate in Health Research at the University of Leeds, she has a membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons of Glasgow, along with membership in Paediatric Dentistry of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, Edinburgh and Glasgow. Ellie has also worked as Senior Specialist Registrar at a number of hospitals and has been an honorary lecturer at the University of Manchester. In addition, Ellie has been awarded the National Institute for the Health Research Academic Clinical Fellowship in Paediatric Dentistry, along with national and international prizes from the British Society of Paediatric Dentistry and the European Society of Paediatric Dentistry.

In other words, there can be no disputing the fact that Dr Ellie is indeed one of the UK’s top child dentist specialists and we are delighted that she is now about to become a vital member of the Carisbrook team.

From the beginning of March Carisbrook patients and indeed parents of any young children, registered with us or not, will be able to make an appointment to see Ellie at our dental clinic.

In addition, however, and as part of our exclusive new paediatric specialist referral service, Ellie is more than happy to work with other dental practices, wherever they may be located, in order to provide the specialist paediatric treatments that may be required.
