Very few dental practices can boast that they have a specialist in dentistry for children, but at Carisbrook we’re very privileged to have Dr Elnaz Aliakbari, a Registered Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry as part of our team. Dr Ellie, as she is affectionally known, completed 3-years speciality training at the renowned Leeds Dental Institute and she has gained a Masters Degree in Paediatric Dentistry. Not only has Ellie presented extensively at national and international conferences and has been published in numerous scientific journals, but she has been awarded many prizes by the British Paediatric Dentistry and the European Academy of Paediatric Dentistry. Despite this impressive catalogue of honours, however, perhaps Ellie’s greatest attribute is that she specialises in helping children who are anxious, stressed, medically compromised or who have suffered a previous bad experience at a dentist.

If anyone can relax a child and provide the specialist level of dentistry for children that is required … then Ellie can. And we’re honoured that she is here with us at Carisbrook.
