We’re now offering a ‘normal’ service

We can hardly believe it, but it’s almost one year since we published our last blog. The 16th March 2020 to be precise and over the intervening ten months we have witnessed a period like nothing any of us have ever experienced before. Lockdown, tier 3, lockdown, tier four, lockdown yet again … for us and for every dental practice in the country (probably across the world) it has been a deeply troubled time of uncertainty, stops and starts.

For several months, despite being the leading Manchester dental practice we virtually suspended all our appointments except for the most urgent emergency procedures. Routine dentistry and non-urgent treatments were effectively put on hold.

Gradually, however, we have put into place the most stringent health and safety disciplines in order to provide the maximum possible protection for our staff as well as for each and every one of our patients.

Even so it has to be said that as the top Manchester dental practice our health and safety standards, even before the pandemic, were already quite exceptional.  

Because, like all dental practices our dentists and hygiene teams operate so closely with our patients, we already operated what was a very strict and disciplined health and safety routine with masks, gowns, gloves etc. However, with the unprecedented challenges posed by the covid-19 virus, we have now extended these disciplines so that we can now guarantee the very highest level of protection for our staff and patients.

•  Our PPE equipment has been massively enhanced.

•  We now allow a time-gap between every patient visit so that our treatment rooms 

    can be carefully sanitized.

•  We have developed an exceptional cleaning routine.

•  We have established an internal ‘one-way-system’ so that patients do not have to 

    come into close contact with other visitors.

•  We temperature-test every patient before treatment.

•  We have even installed a powerful air pump so that the atmosphere in each of 

    our treatment rooms is replaced and refreshed between every dental procedure.

Now we believe that Carisbrook Dental provides what has to be one of the safest and most reassuring patient environments in the world. Which is why we are delighted to confirm that we are once again fully open for business!
